Executive Director, $5M human services nonprofit, IDD Waiver
The Boland Group is partnered with Your Talent Team to recruit an Executive Director for a $5M+ nonprofit that specializes in helping individuals with intellectual, cognitive or developmental disabilities live their best lives. Our client seeks to help all those served live in the most independent setting and work in the most fulfilling capacity with as minimal restrictions as possible. Due to the retirement of the current Executive Director, the Board is seeking to recruit an ED with prior nonprofit leadership experience in a vocational rehabilitation, comprehensive rehabilitation provider or charitable nonprofit setting. Understanding of the IDD Waiver program is strongly preferred but the most important qualities for this ED will be 1) their passion for this field, 2) their ability to winsomely convey the organization’s mission and impact, 3) lead a long tenured collaborative staff and 4) diversify revenue streams through proactive fundraising and earned income opportunities.
