Seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a faith-based non profit in the greater Baton Rouge area. Our client is a highly respected international Christian institution that serves at risk community members who need assistance with basic needs ranging from nutritious food and housing to clothing and employment. Services include homeless shelters, thrift stores which fund many services and a pharmacy.

This is a newly created position reporting to the CEO. The CEO and  the Board have created the COO  position because the current CEO’s external obligations have increased to the point that he’s not able to give the internal organization the attention and leadership it deserves. Accordingly, the current CEO is seeking an operations leader with strong operational efficiency experience coupled with a heart for serving Christ in the “distressing disguise of the poor”.
